For an added touch I tied it with a Halloween ribbon, stickled the stem and the words on the front and then added the verse on the inside!

Had a productive day Monday!

So since being saddled with my headaches and other medical issues, I find that on my "good" days I make sure I do all that I can!  This time I did some scrap booking (pretty sad tho that it took me an entire day to make a 2 page layout and a card---I used to whip out 4-5 double pages in a day) Oh well!  Here's what I accomplished:

These were both made with files from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.
Thanks for looking and watch for something new tomorrow!

Autumn Blessings Card

I participated in a weekly challenge for Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and the challenge was to follow their sketch and personalize it with one of their files, still following the layout.  I then added the following verse on the inside:
Autumn is here!
And I just popped out
of the red, yellow
& golden leaves to wish
you a warm, bright
and colorful season!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

SVGcuts.com Halloween Challenge

I entered a contest through SVGcuts.com to win a sizzix eclips cutting machine (at least I'm hoping to be the grand prize winner).  I started off with the mansion, then the banner, but I couldn't stop there so I added the lanterns and the pumpkin treat box!  It was a lot of work but so much fun!

Back in the swing of things with Scraptastical Kreations!!

For my design team project I used the "Little Buckaroo" file from www.scraptasticalkreations.com  Go check it out and buy this file plus lots of new ones Kristy just listed this month!
My sister Michelle bought a couple of horses this summer and my daughter has claimed Punky as "hers"...but we also say that Punky claimed Randi too!  The kids love riding and all we hear from Randi now is "Can we go see my horse?"  Sometimes it gets a little frustrating but at least she has passion about it!  Thanks for looking, I hope to post more soon!

Weekly project time for Scraptastical Kreations!!!

For this week I chose to make a Graduation card for a friend.  I used a file from the SIL store for the card AND added the BOY GRADUATE from the file Graduation Day by Scraptastical Kreations.  This looked to be an easy card but then I discovered when putting it together that I made the little boy too tall and he stuck out of the card when it was closed (oopsie) luckily it turned out to be an easy fix as all I had to do was shorten the legs and body a little bit!  I don't think it turned out too bad considering it was my first pop up card!

Thanks for stopping by and looking! Until next time.....

Step Birthday Card

For this week I created a birthday card for my cousin using the step birthday card from SIL store and then added the flower pot and flowers from Just For You file from Scraptastical Kreations I also used the title but changed it up a bit so that it ran horizontal across the bottom of the card.  Be sure to stop on over and get this and many other great files today!

FIESTA TIME!!!

Let's PARTY!!!!   At least that's what my kids plan on doing with these cute maracas I made with the Fiesta file from Scraptastical Kreations!  To start with I took these basic items:
I took the rolls from toilet paper, covered one end with paper and added the dried beans.  I then covered the other end with paper, taped the plastic knife to the back of it; wrapped it in the yellow paper and topped it off by adding brown ribbon to the top and bottom of it!

This is what they looked like prior to adding the pieced together pieces from the FIESTA file that you can find here: Scraptastical Kreations-Fiesta!

The FINAL Maracas...my kids are so excited to play with these and I can't wait to get some pictures of them enjoying them...it will give me one more thing to keep me busy Scrappin' My Kids!!!

Owl Always Love You

For Scraptastical Kreations this week I chose to make a card.  While making this I thought of both my brother and my sister who are going through rough times, so they are the inspiration for this (now to decide who to give it to).  I started off with the "Shaped Cards" file and then added the owl, sign and inside verse from "Owl Always Love You" file.  This file is so cute and easy to use!  Be sure to stop over at the store and get your copy of it today!  And it's a great time to go shopping as Kristi is having a 65% off sale of any purchase over $25!
Thanks for stopping by and until next time....I'll be scrappin my kids!

Blake's 2nd Birthday Invitation

My son wants choo-choo for his birthday...unfortunately there is no place in our town to get choo-choo invitations so I decided to create my own!  I used the ticket from the "KISS-this and that" file (Scraptastical Kreations) and added a choo-choo that I created in Design Studio.  I had so much fun creating this--was able to use my pen attachment for my cameo and learned a little more about the software for it!

Cameo jitters!

I am so excited to get my NEW SILHOUETTE CAMEO!!!  The above picture is what I ordered, unfortunately it was supposed to be delivered by Friday (2-22) and it now tells me that it won't be delivered until the 27th....so much for paying for expedited shipping, that did me NO GOOD!  All I know is that as soon as it gets here, that baby will be up and running within the hour!!!  I already upgraded to SCAL 3 and have it all set up and ready to go!  Hopefully I will get it all figured out and know how to use it before Friday morning since I am going to a 3 day crop again!!! YIPPPPPEEE!!
On another note, I decided to try out for a Design Team Member for another company (new members will be announced March 8th) hopefully I get chosen, we will have to wait and see.  In the meantime I have been VERY BUSY designing stuff for Carrie at Sparkle Me!  Lot's of wonderful SPARKLES available over there!  We are in the process of getting a new website going...hope to have it up and going by the end of March, keep your fingers crossed that we get it all done!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week and I will try to post again this week with my first Cameo project!
