Brenda and I were busy this weekend making our party decor and favors for the get together we are having at Tina's house tomorrow night.  We made the New Year's Eve Kit from SVG Cuts and the 2013 glasses from My Scrap Chick

Entered for a spot as a Design Team Member for Designs on Cloud 9...didn't make the cut...fourth company I've tried out for...gets frustrating and disappointing.

So frustrating!

Maybe I'm kidding myself and I am not that good at scrap booking as I thought...shot down again for a design team member...guess it's time to call it quits on that avenue and look into other avenues!  So bummed too....I spent hours working on that stuff!

After having surgery last Monday I didn't get any scrapbooking done....hopefully I will be able to this week! Have lots of ideas running through my head and so many things I want to accomplish!  Hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving!

Challenge time for Designs on Cloud 9

This is my entry for the challenge for Designs on Cloud 9 The challenge was to create a banner using one or more patterns from their site.  For this challenge I used a candy corn as the banner background and then I added their file of Smell My Feet and the Flying Witch.

Randi's Birthday Present

Randi is totally obsessed with Doc McStuffins and playing Dr. so I made her her very own Big Book of Boo-Boo's (Doc McStuffins has one that she writes all of her diagnosis for her toys in).  For this I used the girl from Pigment of My Imagination (Scrapping Bug Designs) and the doctor items from Check Up (Designs on Cloud 9).  I think it turned out pretty darn cute!

Little Scraps of Heaven Back to School Challenge

For the BACK TO SCHOOL CHALLENGE (LSHD) I did a layout for Randi's first day of preschool....Can't wait to add the photos to it!  She is starting preschool this Tuesday, wish me luck since I will be teaching her myself!

So Randi is staying the night at her Aunt Michelle's again tonight and she just called me to tell me to bring her swimsuit over to her so she can go swimming.....at 10 o'clock at night?????!!! I told her to just swim in her panties and she threw a fit---"no I can't swim in my panties they'll get all wet!  Just bring my swimsuit over here now!"  So I told her again no that I wasn't going to bring it over----then she yells at me "Just hang up the phone now!"
What a crazy child, at home I can't keep her out of the baby pool in her panties and at Michelle's (behind a fence in the dark) she won't swim in her panties!  I give up!

Designs on Cloud 9 Challenge

This is a challenge I completed for Designs on Cloud 9....We had to create a page with a vertical border using a cloud 9 paper piecing and title or embellishments that have to do with nature or a season.  I chose to do a winter page.

Been busy...

Unfortunately I have been so busy this summer that I haven't had a lot of time for scrapping...hoping to change all of that.  I have been working on redoing my scrap booking room and hopefully I will get it all done this week and be able to do some major scrapping!  I do know that I am looking forward to a 3 day crop this month so I can get a lot done!  I promise to try and post some projects within the next couple of weeks. Hope everyone is having a fabulous summer!

What I am working on today...

Working on scrap booking today...Have 12 challenges to complete for an online crop and so far I haven't been able to complete one of them yet...my brain is asleep I think...can't think or focus on the project at hand...no fun!  Gonna take a quick chocolate break and maybe that will help! Happy National Scrap Booking Day!

4x6 Tag Challenge for LSHD

Welcome to my first ever blog spot

Finally I have a blog spot up and running....YEAH!!!  I will add some of my favorite pages that I have done tomorrow, for now I at least have this much done!  Going to try to get the kiddos to bed for the night and maybe I can get a little more organizing done in my scrap booking room...I sure hope so, since I have two online scrap booking events on Saturday...Gonna be up and at 'em at 7:00am scrapping away!  Enjoy your evening everyone!
